Day 01

Arrive in Montreal

Your Canadian vacation begins in Montreal, the largest city in Quebec. Walk down the cobblestone streets of the Old Port, admire the city’s blend of heritage buildings and eye-catching skyscrapers, and take in the views of the St. Lawrence River. 

Day 02

Explore Montreal

Discover the highlights of Montreal on a guided tour this morning. Then, choose how to spend the afternoon — you could visit one of the museums or art galleries, stroll through the botanical gardens, taste classic Montreal food, and more.   

Day 03

VIA Rail – Montreal to Quebec City

Travel through some of French Canada’s most picturesque countryside as you head towards Quebec City. This evening, enjoy a guided food tour or five-course dining experience. 

Day 04

Explore Quebec City, depart on VIA Rail

You have the whole day to explore Quebec City or the surrounding countryside. Late this evening, board The Ocean train and travel towards the Maritime provinces.

Day 05

VIA Rail to Bathurst, then travel to Prince Edward Island

Awake in the province of New Brunswick and enjoy the countryside views as the train moves towards Bathurst. This afternoon, explore the Acadian coastline and cross the famous Confederation Bridge to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Day 06

Discover Prince Edward Island

Immerse yourself in the charm and history of Prince Edward Island on your choice of tour.

Day 07

Charlottetown to Moncton

Travel back over Confederation Bridge to the province of New Brunswick. Discover the famous Hopewell Rocks and the Bay of Fundy, before heading to Moncton for a special welcome dinner. 

Day 08

Bay of Fundy Coast to Saint John

Discover the spectacular Bay of Fundy coastline on your way to Saint John. You'll travel along the Fundy Trail Parkway, a coastal wilderness area features craggy cliffs, isolated beaches, sea caves, waterfalls, and plenty of wildlife.
