The Journey through the Clouds route spans over 800 kilometres (500 miles), connecting the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver with the charming mountain community of Jasper. It’s a two-day journey, with an overnight stop in Kamloops.

Day One: Vancouver to Kamloops
The journey begins in Vancouver, where the train departs early in the morning. The train rolls through the lush Fraser Valley, known for its fertile farmland and vibrant greenery. As the train enters the dramatic Fraser Canyon, you’ll marvel at the steep canyon walls and the rushing waters of the Fraser River.

Overnight in Kamloops

Day Two: Kamloops to Jasper
After the train departs Kamloops, the scenery grows increasingly dramatic as it follows the North Thompson River. Semi-arid desert terrain gradually gives way to dense pine forest and alpine valleys. From the cascading waters of Pyramid Falls to the towering majesty of Mount Robson, this day is filled with awe-inspiring vistas. The journey ends in Jasper, a charming town nestled within Jasper National Park.
